Our Newest ASFE Team Member

ASFE is excited to announce the addition of Emma Chami as the newest member of our team!

Emma Augusti Chami lives in Bagamoyo, Tanzania with her husband, Tuma, and son Derrick. Originally from Moshi Village in the Kilimanjaro region Emma is the fifth of six children. Her father is a tour guide and driver in Arusha with Abercombie and Kent while her mother is a farmer.

Emma received her primary and most of her secondary education in Moshi, including attending a computer college between semesters, and finished her secondary advanced level at Eagles Nest Secondary School in Kampala, Uganda in 2008. In 2011 she received her diploma from Dar es Salaam School of Journalism and Mass Communication.

Emma worked as an editor, news presenter and photographer with Radio Triple “A” in Arusha from July 2011 to May 2012. In June 2012 to August 2013 she worked at Airtel Tanzania in customer service and advertising.
