Every Summer (May - July) Asante Sana For Education leads a "student-adult"cultural immersion/service trip to Tanzania. During the three weeks in Tanzania we:

Work with Students Empowering Students and BEE Montessori Preschool.

Visit local schools and orphanages in addition to the schools Asante Sana For Education has built.

Learn about the history and culture of Bagamoyo.

Go on safari, take a boat ride through hippos and crocodiles on the Wami River.

Shop the many art markets.
-
Eat too much great Tanzanian food.

Do hands on labor.
-
Relax at the beach.
Volunteer
Asante Sana For Education is all about students, though we welcome students, teachers and individuals of all grades and ages throughout the world to get involved. Your involvement can be through your school, community, civic groups, religious clubs, place of employment, or as an individual.
Below are some ways people have helped in the past:

Become an international Students Empowering Students member by answering and receiving Tanzanian students' responses to prompts.

Hold a fundraiser at your school, club, place of worship or in your community.

Form a Sponsorship Partnership with friends, family, classmates, or neighbors to sponsor one or more students.

Spread the word of ASFE activities and needs through social media.

Skype with SES members through your school or club.

Host a charity event in support of ASFE.

Arrange for founder Ashley Washburn to speak at your school, club, or place of worship.

Volunteer in Tanzania through teaching English and computer skills.

Sponsor a student.

Travel with ASFE to Tanzania.
